All told, I had a trip list of 63 species, with 11 Life Birds.
The Common Moorhen had been on my Life List as a "heard only" bird. This was the first time I saw one. I had seen the spoonbill and both ibises in a zoo, but this was the first time in the wild. The Red-breasted Merg and G. Black-backed Gull were my first USA sightings; I had previously seen both species in Scotland.

Congratulations, Kathi! Your head must have been spinning. What a delight.
Impressive list of great birds. So glad you were able to add to your life list!
Great list and pictures.
Sounds like you had a great time ! Sunshine and lots of birds, the perfect combination, congrats on so many Lifers.
That's a very impressive list, Kat Doc. And going to Florida this time of year must have added to your delight of seeing so many. You obviously knew where to visit. ;o)
I took a trip to Florida in 2003 and added so many life birds. I'm still adding that data into eBird to find out my totals (I just started eBirding this year). Nice pics and a good trip!
