Friday Funnies - yet another "Light Bulb" joke

If you have ever been a member of an Internet bulletin board community, you will appreciate this addition to the "light bulb jokes" series.
###

How many board members does it take to change a light bulb?

Answer: 412

1 to change the light bulb and post to the board that the bulb has been changed.

4 to respond and share similar experiences.

7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs.

27 to point out spelling and grammatical errors in postings about changing light bulbs.

53 to flame the spell-checkers.

156 to write to the administrator to complain about the light bulb discussion and its inappropriateness to the board.

111 to defend the relevance of the light bulb discussion.

27 to post website addresses where one can see different examples of light bulbs.

14 to complain that the website addresses are in correct and post correct ones

and ...

12 to "leave the board forever" because they can't handle the light bulb controversy.

Hahaha! I love light bulb jokes. lol "12 to leave board forever because they can't handle the light bulb controversy"

p.s. I noticed on your profile for favorite movies you put "Stories of impossible loves that succeed against all odds." Have you seen "The Notebook"? If you haven't, I sincerely urge you to--it is one of my favorite movies but be warned, it will make you bawl.

Having been on many boards, I really liked this one. Makes me ever so glad we're retired and will never again sit through those meetings.

This is a new lightbulb joke for me.
Years ago, when I was in our state Dpt of Health, I even saw a list of lightbulb jokes that applied to health professionals--e.g. epidemiologists. Now, you don't see epidemiologists feature very often in jokes.

Omg Kat, can we SOOOO relate to this??? Lmao!

Yeah, Holly - I immediately thought about LTAS when I heard this one.

KGMom: I would love to hear an epidemiologist joke, esp. if it involved light bulbs!

Helena: I have heard about "The Notebook," of course, but haven't read the book or seen the movie, yet. I'll be sure to have a whole box of tissues handy.

NC: Ah, retirement! Some day ...

That's so true! So funny! I was a member of a board for a swim club for a few years. Every week someone threatened to quit the board for the most ridiculous reasons. I finally quit because of the ridiculous people and their squabbles :o) Petty people on power trips.
