Counting down - three weeks till the Fall Birding Weekend at Cape May, New Jersey. I can't wait. As well as seeing the Atlantic Ocean and lots of cool birds, I will be hanging with some of the great birder-bloggers of the USA: Susan (Gets Native), Laura (in NJ) and Lynne (of Hasty Brook.)
I have been saving up for this trip since July 3. Compare this stash of quarters to the one in that post.
Don't worry - I have folding money, too. This pot is just for toll booths and parking meters.

Whew, had me worried there for a moment. You weren't going to get far on just quarters...lol
That would buy me almost a whole tank of gas :)
They have toll booths in NJ!!??
Uh-oh...
Lynne, bring CHANGE. There are tolls roads every 20 feet AND parking in Cape May is serious.
(And don't try to pump your own gas there, either...hee hee)
My fund is rather pitiful. But I can still chip in for all the tolls. My money is sitting in the bank where I won't touch it.
Pfft. Susan beat me to it. Just be glad you won't have to pay to get on the beach after Labor Day.
