This is "Carly," aka "Grandma," an elderly dachshund who boards with us frequently. Carly brings her blankie along and has to arrange it just so. This makes for a lot of very cute photo-ops.
Ohhh...I grew up with a gorgeous Dachsie, half standard, half mini, who wore his blue receiving blankie just like that--long nose sticking out. He used to go out in the morning, still wearing it, his poker-stiff tail keeping it in place sometimes all the way across the street, until he galloped up the neighbor's hill and left it on the lawn. I miss Volks!
Come visit me in my world,
5 acres of southwest Ohio, which I share with a collection of pets and wild things. Take your shoes off and have a seat - what we can find to talk about today?
Since April 1, 2009 (with a few exceptions), Canon Rebel Xsi, using either a Canon EFS 18-55mm IS lens or a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM
Before April, 2009, a Canon Powershot A530 point and shoot with 5 megapixels and a 4x optical zoom.

I'll bet you all spoil her. For looking so sweet, she deserves it!
Now that really is a big dose of cute! What sweet pictures.
Ah, the fabled "Hooded Weinerschnitzel." Very nice find, Kathy! Heh.
She certainly looks like a proper little old lady.
